additional symptons, with 61 code flashing on screen it will take fuzzy pictures but will only review and delete one, like it's the only picture that was taken. Your first expert refered to page 51 in manual which in my manual is Shooting in Multi Burst Mode and has nothing to with set up.
Enjoy the $9.95 and I'll take two aspiran and call you in the morning!

Hi,
Below is exploded view of Lens section of MVC-CD350 model and it has 2 small stepping motors (marked with red arrow), one of them got jammed so you get E-61-00 error.
If you know camera repair, apart it and take out lens with care. open 2 screws at top of stepping motor face plate , pull up slightly and rotate it with finger and place it back. do the same with second motor and done.
Good luck.

Error code E:61:00 means the camera has encountered a malfunction, and you should try initializing the camera back to the factory settings. Instructions on how to do this are on page 51 of your user manual, and I have included a link to a PDF download of your manual if you no longer have it. If this doesn't work I would have the camera looked at by an authorized service technician. I hope this helps!

Code e:61:00 on a Sony camera, means lens error.

code e:61:00 on a Sony camera, means lens error.
This usually happens because the lens mechanism is stuck or damaged.

If lens extract and retract regularly, code e:61:00 means that the camera focus mechanism is faulty.

Toi fix it the lens assembly must be taken apart and re-assembled, this job can only be done by an expert technician, unless you want to risk transforming your camera in a bunch of bits and screws.

Hello my question is about what I think is a mirror issue on my n75 Nikon camera. When I look through the viewfinder the picture appears fuzzy. I looked closely at the lens and it does not look like it...

First off, with no lens attached, it will always be fuzzy, there is nothing to focus the light. Second, if you're looking at the mirror, you should be able to tell if it's dirty - if it is, glass cleaner and a soft rag are all that are required.

I'd suspect however that neither are your issue. Either your focusing screen is out of place or damaged, or your camera's diopter correction (if it has it) has been moved, Look for a small dial right next to your viewfinder with a +/- on it, and with the lens attached, and focused, turn the dial until everything is in focus. If your camera has this dial, it'll be usually on the right side of the viewfinder window.

If it does not have it you'll need to seek a repair shop to check your focusing screen since the mirror is 99% not going to be the cause of your problem. If there are no shops locally, google KEH Camera. It'll run you $35 for an estimate, waived if you decide to have any needed repairs done.

The problem i m having with my camcorder is when i want to record film screen goes blank but i can watch my previous recorded videos

Look in the view finder when recording instead of the screen. if you see the image there then the unit is probably set to look through there. Many of the new units dont' have a full view finder to lens item they actually have a small lcd screen inside the view finder. Check your options for recording.

Also if the view finder is tilted you need to close that before usign the lcd.

The image will not appear simultaneously on the LCD

monitor and the viewfinder. It will appear in the

viewfinder when the LCD monitor is in the lock position,

and it will appear on the LCD monitor when fully
extended.

If camcorder shows old recorded tapes picture with correct colors in LCD but does not show live view in camera mode to record new movie then its ccd imager chip failure.
And if camcoder shows live view and old recorded tapes in its eye piece view finder but does not show any thing in LCD the its problem of broekn/ cracked flexible wire between lcd board and main board of camcorder.
Let me know your finding with bit detail to provide you solution/ helpful info.

Shooting mode shows nothing.

Hello,

I just had this issue with my camera (my 15 year old son solved it for me ;-) ).

The viewfinder was active in "record" mode and the LCD was "active" because you could see a little back light but no image. The "playback" mode would let me review pictures in the LCD though so I know it is capable of showing information.

If you push the display key/button a couple of times you can see the picture move from the viewfinder to the LCD and have just a picture and or a picture and information.

So try setting the camera to "record" mode (lens comes out) and then push the "display button" which is on the back of the camera just to the right of the LCD on the lower right side several times and see if the LCD starts to work.

It could be that somehow the display button was pushed by mistake.

Fuzzy vertical lines on display, viewfinder on recording

This problem may be due to a malfunction of the CCD image sensor in the camera. It is defective in this model and canon will repair it for you at no charge. Here is the link to their service notice. You can call the 1800 no in the article and they will send you a form along with a ups label to send the camera to them.
