These are the most common methods for recovering Sandisk's Sansa Mp3 Players. I have been almost universally successful in recovering Sansa players using one or a combination of these methods. These methods do not work if you are having synchronization or music format issues - they are for recovering a player that will not power up, freezes, flashes, is not recognized by the computer, and a host of other issues.

Reset the Sansa Player first. On most models, restart is done by holding the power button in for 15 seconds or longer. Check your specific manual to be sure. The manuals are available from the Sansa website if they have been misplaced.
Download the Sansa Recovery Tool from the Sansa website.
Format - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.
Firmware Upgrade- Erases Everything: Get the latest firmware upgrade from Sansa - it updates the firmware and erases every song in the player all at once. Note: this method doesn't work if already have the latest firmware. Go to this website and click "Firmware Updater" to find out: http://www.sandisk.com/DriverDownload/driverList.asp
If these fail, then:
Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
If you get the problem where MTP Device keeps popping up continuously, uninstall the “MTP Device” by going to Start à Control Panel àSystem à Hardware à Device Manager (you computer may vary slightly, depending on Windows Version).
You may have to restart your computer after each of these methods to get them to work properly. Disconnect your Sansa player BEFORE shutting down your computer.

Blackberry 8520 won't intialise

I run a unlocking service and unlocking does not "damage" the phone in anyway, so I assure you it wasnt the unlocking that has confiused your phone.

Things you need to check

take out the sim, does the phone boot?

But you have a bigger problem, the 8520 does not have 3G so it cant never connect to 3 as you need a 3G enabled phone.

if that is all you are getting a the system start, there is a good chance the hard disk drive may have failed. Try reseating the drive then F2 to BIOS, reset defaults and see if the system will boot. If HDD isn't detected in the bios, it has likely failed.

Computer cannot detect DVD drive. drive opens and reads discs, but computer does not know it.

Computer reads the hardware when it is connected with the mothermoard with a data cable and the hardware can even work if not connected to motherboard because there are 2 cables connected with every hardware. 1 is power cable which makes the hardware gets ON and the other is data cable which makes it work so we see it in the computer. Your data cable connection may have gone faulty so its getting on and taking the CD but is not reading it.

Another thing may b that the cd is not good so change the cd and insert a new cd.
Hope that answer your question?

Boot from HP Diagnostic Media (SmartStart CD)and check the status of Array.....or harddrives...
If showing any failed status or not supported..
Replace drives to check if new drives show status...
It could be because of Drives not intialise for Array..

Boot to Array Configuration Utility...during bootup and go to Intialise disks....
Use them

Acer aspire one hard disk cannot read

Check the BIOS configuration for the hard disk, if the BIOS does not detect the hard drive then the hard drive is faulty or the disk controller is faulty.
To test the hard drive, remove it and connect it to an USB hard drive adapter and connect it to a working computer's USB port. This computer should detect the hard drive as an external disk drive. If this computer cannot detect it and/or cannot open the folders etc. the the hard drive is faulty.
Then you need to install a new hard drive in the Acer and install Windows, the device drivers and your programs to get the laptop operational again.

Printer does not intialise

Most likely, the main logic board has failed.

You might get lucky and find that it's only a corrupted flash, but that's a slim hope.
