no but I just fixed it myself, if the keyboard is stuck in the fn mode you have to push scrlk and the fn key to stop it,

Actually it was fixed by holding down the blue num lock and the blue fn key at the same time. This corrected my problem but your post helped to fix mine because i tried your solution then thought this isn't working, ??? maybe it is the numb lock key, and i tried it and it worked for me. Thank you for your help.

    turn off the machine.

use a letter opener try to push the Function button up. (very gentaly). it should popup. once it is up use a paint brush try to clean up what is under neath the button. you may have use a cotton swap and water to clean out some of the stuff that is stuck- ed on the pad.

Some keyboards have a feature called "Number Lock" It is mostly found on laptops. But turn it off to regain your default keyboard. On most keyboards it is located near the screen shot, print screen buttons. Push your shift key and the NumLk/ScrnLk button, and your keyboard should return to default.

Hope this helps...... :)

My wireless wont turn on on medion akoya E5211 ... i need to turn on my wireless connection switch and dont know how or where it is

I had the same problem so I rang Medion & they told me go to the Medion website and download "Launch Manager" from your driver page. It's a program that turns on all of the Fn keys. Thus making the wireless (Fn+F1) work as well as the brightness (Fn+F8 or F9).
This is the only way to get it to work

My keyboard

yaa bcoz you have made your Numlock On thats why keyboard gives you these characters. You can see a led 'on' on your keyboard near Num Lock.

To make it off press and hold Fn kye (left side bottom row of the keboard) and press Num Lock kye (Top row right side). It will make your Num Lock on/off.

Thanks
Iqbal

Acer 3500 keyboard

Let me start from the top.

1: removing the keyboard: as near as I can tell, at the top of your keyboard is power button etc,.. this cover can be removed.
once removed, there are at least 3 screws under it, once those are out there are 2 more on the bottom. NOTE:
could be that like on my Compaq and IBM the proper keys on the bottem are denoted by a small etching of a keyboard.
It may not be neccesary to remove the keyboard, so if it ain't broke.. don't fix it.
2: Fixing this keyboard is possible IF by stuck you mean they stick but otherwise work. My IBM for example ( used by
my kids on occasion ) has had sticky substances dropped onto the keyboard. I simply removed the appropriate keys,
cleaned them with alcohol and re-seated them. CAUTION: Pay attention to how they come off so you can put them back on
and be careful not to break the plastic connectors.
In closing,.. if all else fails and after cleaning and re-seating the keys dont work, buy a new one. They aren't that expensive if
you look around. I won't put a website here for an on-line store that carries them,.. but do a google search you'll find several
places.
