Question about AT&T Cell Phones
You will need Yahoo Plus! to allow your BlackBerry to connect to YMail via POP3 (which your BlackBerry will use to connect). If you have a Plus! account, follow the instructions on Yahoo's site. You'll need these settings for your BlackBerry's setup. You'll have to create/login to your account on AT&T's BlackBerry portal. Once in there, enter your POP3 access settings.
I would suggest using another service (such as Gmail) which allow POP/IMAP access for free.
Unfortunately, you'll have to use a web browser to get your mail if you don't have a Plus! account.

The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
