The audio out cable (green ended wire sometimes) goes into the audio out socket of your pc. (both are green some in cases with older computers then it will be the middle on of the 3 sockets) if you have more than 3 audio sockets then they will indefinetly be colour coded. if you have a sub and/or remote, plug the left speaker jack into the white socket and the right speaker jack into the red socket of either the remote or sometimes the sub. then just plug it into the wall and adjust the volume control via the start menu and the remote if you have one.

hope this helps

Lifestyle 30. sound stops, i unplug and plug back in and works for short time and quits. unpllug and plug back and works a short time and quits.

What you describe, sounds like a speaker short. Are you using the Bose wiring with their ends and no cuts in the wire? (splices) It's not too uncommon to extend or shorten a wire. The fastest way to find a short is to disconnect your speakers at the speaker. Be careful to keep the wires separate if they are not on plugs and turn on. If it cuts off (power) or says (protection) on the display that lets you know your speakers are ok and you have a short in the system or a wire. Next, disconnect wires at the sub one by one and test until it causes the system to cut off or short. Leave that speaker disconnected from the sub and test with all others connected. Now you've located the channel that has the problem. First just connect the wire again to the sub. if it cuts out, run a new wire from the sub to the spkr, for testing purposes make it a short wire if possible and test. If you need to use a Bose plug at the sub to test spkrs go buy one at Bose, don't cut your factory wire just yet. If a new plug works then cut and replace. Make sure you use electrical tape not scotch tape or duct tape. If it works fine, test the new plug on the old wire and see if it works. If it does your done, if it doesn't, run a new wire to the speaker with the new plug on it. If after all this and it still doesn't work. Sounds confusing I know, It's just process of elimination, that's how we do it in the field. If all your speakers are disconnected and it still cuts out, it could be the sub or the receiver. Take it to a Bose store and they can check each piece for functionality. If it needs repaired let Bose do it. Hope this helps.

Installing Labtec LCS 800 speakers

1 wire goes between the 2 speakers
1 wire goes from the speaker with 2 jacks in it to the computer, the back of the computer should have a green port to plug in the cable to
1 wire is the power

this is a guess without seeing your setup

Left Channel Not Working.

Has it ever worked?

Try this - connect one pair of its speaker wires at a time and test it. Watch the polarity.

• Make sure all cube speaker arrays are connected to the proper terminals according to their
position in your room.
• Check to be sure all wires are connected to your surround receiver with the proper polarity
(+ to + and – to – wires). Incorrect wiring can result in a total loss of module output.
• Correct any wiring problems before you plug in your receiver and turn it on.

How do you know the receiver's Left channel isn't the fault? Sounds like a source issue.

Rear left speaker not playing

If the speaker itself is working then the problem will most likely be the connection point where the speaker plugs into. If you dont know how to check for this problem, i dont really want to tell you just in case you hurt yourself. Take it to a shop and have it looked at by someone thats knows what there looking for.
