I called Dell about the same problem. They said it's a motor error. They had me turn off the printer and remove the transfer belt, fuser and all the toner and then turn the printer on and replace them one-by-one, closing the printer door each time to see what the message was.
The printer then began printing before seizing up and reporting the same error message. They ran me through some steps and we realised that I need a new fuser and/or fuser motor.
Try the above. Otherwise call Dell, they were very helpful.

I've read that inkjets are best for home photos. But I really want a color laser printer ( fax not necessary)for my home that at least does decent photos for my personal use. Any suggestions?
