When shut the door on the microwave, the light goes on, the fan starts running, (but nothing heats up - I put a cup of water in, and it remained cold). Try hitting clear, and it the fan continues running. Try hitting kitchen timer, then number, like 8, 0, 0, and the numbers appear on the display, but when I touch start, nothing happens, start doesn't cause the usual beep. Same thing when I hit a cook time and start.
Is this worth fixing? It's 13 years old.
The "main" relay on the control circuit board is stuck (shorted) and needs to be replaced.
