Question about HP Pavilion tx1220us Tablet PC
Could anyone tell me why my HP Pavilion tx1220us laptop wouldn't be starting up? When I turn the power on the lights flash as if it wanted to start up like normal but then nothing else will happen. It's hardly a year old and hasn't been abused or anything, so I'm at a loss.
Same thing for me 17 months old and normal usage

There are a few ways you can check to see if it's something that might be a hardware issue. First swipe your finger over the mousepad or type on the keyboard to see if it just isn't in power saving mode. Also press the powre button briefly. also a simple power cycle might correct this. Take your battery out of the laptop, then connect the power adapter to your computer. Turn the computer off meaning make sure the power light is off. Hold down the power button for about 1 minute, open the laptop back on and it should correct the issue. If that doesn't work try an external monitor to see if the connectoin works on there, also you can take a flashlight and shine it at the screen at an angle, what this does is if you can see a faint image then the inverter or back light might have gone bad and need to be replaced. Make sure the power adapter abd battery are good and is plugged into good known power source. I hope these steps help you.
