Open up the lamp door, unscrew the lamp, remove it, replace it, replace the door.

Christie LX45 Projector when running has line of dots through the middle of screen and somtimes has dots throughout screen. Already changed bulb
Main circuit board repair time. Expensive repair....this projector was made by Sanyo.

When unit powers up - nothing shows - menu rolls
resit your projector to factory default. if problem occur clean the entire projector. or change your projection bulb.

My Christie LX34 projector powers down right at the end of the countdown. The bulb looks bright, I cleaned the filters, etc. Seems fine otherwise. Help!
it's a ballast issue. it doesn't have to power to keep it lit.

Christie lamp explodes
the lamp VIP300w, with Hg
the lamp have the chance to explode,if the lamp used over 2200 hours
you can replace the lamp when it is about 2000 hours

Ghosting problem with Christie LX 45
reset the settings to factory default and make sure the resolution matches. you can adjust the clock and phase in the menu.
