I have no right channel audio when using the HDMI connection from Motorola DCT6200 cable box to my Sony HDTV. Have right channel audio on all other inputs on the Sony, including analog cable connection.
How do I tell if the problem is in the Sony HDMI circuits or the Motorola HDMI circuits? (I have no other HDMI source to test with.)

Comcast came and replaced the box, although the tech seemed pretty clueless about HDMI and HDTV. But it worked. Thanks to all.
Since it is easier to replace, I would go with the cable box first. Sometimes there are software upgrades for the TV's that fix such issues but, almost all HDMI issues are with the cable box not the tv.

Call Sony as wel to make sure you have the most current version of the installed software on the TV. The usually will send a memory stick or have a technician do the update for you. Cost depends on warranty.
