Do a restart. what registry cleaner are you using. if you bought it, it was a waste of money. they do little to no good and often cause more problems then they solve.

if you need a registry cleaner (99% of people don't), use ccleaner, use only the scan and the issues functions (top two).

Regclean pro licence key

first of all, be careful using registry cleaners. Secondly, get rid of that software (uninstall it) and download CCleaner (that's not a typo, it is CCleaner). Its free from a great company called Piriform. When you open CCleaner it will start in Cleaner mode which cleans out all old temporary files left behind by software that often doesn't delete temp files after its finished with them.
The next button down on the left side of the CCleaner window is the Registry button. Use that to clean your registry safely and for free. no key needed.

Enter the BIOS and ensure that the Hard drive is indeed being seen by the computer.

Open up the chassis side panel and ensure that all conections are making contact.

It keeps freezing and i have reset it several times and it just freezes

Your computer may be freezing because it probably doesn't have enough RAM, since it is a netbook. Try not to open too many programs at once, because that will make a computer with a low amount of RAM freeze. Hope that helps.

Exit Messenger completely (this means right clicking the Messenger tray icon and choosing Exit).

Open your registry editor (Start > Run > regedit.exe) and navigate to: for Messenger 8.0: HKCU\Software\Microsoft\MSNMessenger for Messenger 8.1: HKCU\Software\Microsoft\WindowsLive\CommunicationsClient

Once there, you must remove the following subkeys: for Messenger 8.0: Policies for Messenger 8.1: Shared
Close your registry editor and restart Messenger.Make sure you don't delete or modify anything else. Wrong alterations can cause serious problems for Windows.

For those who are not comfortable editing the registry, I've made a registry file which will do these alterations for you. Simply download the file, save it and run it:

or use reginout cleaner

Keep getting this message <window

Hello,
  • "Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:
    <Windows root>\system32\hal.dll.
Please re-install a copy of the above file."

  • "<Winnt_root>\System32\Hal.dll missing or corrupt:
Please re-install a copy of the above file."

  • "Cannot find \Windows\System32\hal.dll"

  • "Cannot find hal.dll"
The "missing or corrupt hal.dll" error displays shortly after the computer is first started. Windows XP has not yet fully loaded when this error message appears. CauseCauses of the "missing or corrupt hal.dll" error include, naturally, a damaged hal.dll DLL file or a hal.dll file that has been deleted or moved from its intended location.Additional causes may include a damaged or missing boot.ini file or possibly a physically damaged hard drive.

Please let me know you have any further questions or concerns.
Thanks.
