Question about HP iPAQ RX3115 Pocket PC
Dropped my ipod in my pool and know it will not turn on. I have tried smothering it in rice and in a container for a couple of days but it is just DEAD, what can I do?
Either you dropped an Ipod or a PDA RX3115, but in both cases the device has water damage.
It requires to open it and check it to evaluate if it can be completely cleaned.
When the devices are wet and there is enough battery current, there is corrosion due to chemical reaction with copper, so sometimes the damage cannot be avoided, causing that the main board is completely damaged.
It requires some tools and experience to do it. If you are familiar with fixing electronics, you can try it. Otherwise, I do recommend you to get a technician in checking your device.
