Have you tried to clean the filter recently ? If you have , water may have seeped into the machine, tip it forward and the water should drain out , if it does the same error you have something leaking inside the machine.

Miele W1203 washer, buzzer sound with no indicator flash. how can i fix it

It sounds as if there is a leak and water in the pan (bottom of the machine) the front of the machine would have to be removed to check and determine the cause of the leak

How do you remove the filter to clean it?

Miele machines have a flap to open on the bottom left of the machine. To open this there is a special orange plastic spatular located in the backplate of the soap drawer! Dont use a knife or other sharp instrument or you may scatch the paint damage the flap.

The flap should reveal a screw knob which is the drain filter and also an orange tab. This tab is the emergency door opening device. Very useful if your machine loses electric or other faulty conditions.

loosen the filter and let the water drain (a large bowl might come in handy) after the water quits coming out remove the filter completely, check it for and remove any obstructions. put the filter back on, tighten it so it doesn't leak.

The washing machine won't drain the water and has a red light flashing with the draining water symbol...how do i check it?

You need to locate and remove the filter to clean it, it should tell you where it is in your user instructions.
On most washers, they are usually located at the bottom front of the washer.Turn anti-clockwise to remove and clean.
Hope this helps.

There is a float switch in a pan under the machine. This pan is probably full and the float switch is causing the Intake & Drain fault signal. You can lean the machine over to towards the front to partially drain the pan. Put a towel down to catch the water. When you put the machine level again the fault lights should be out. The real question is where did the water come from. You can easily remove the top (4 screws, 1 on each side behind the little plastic caps and 1 on each side of the back. Torx heads) and look down inside while you start the cycle. Look for leaks.
Good Luck,
Dan

Miele leak when switched on for wash, from filter unit front LHS bottom of machince

The leaks in a washing machine could be coming from many different places in the washer.

The first place you need to check is behind the washer, check the two fill hoses and the water mixing valve.

The next thing to do is to remove the front panel, set the washer on the regular cycle and turn it on to start filling.

Use a drop light and check all the hoses under the washer as the washer is filling. Make sure to keep your hands away from any moving parts.

If the hoses are ok, check the pump for leaks. When the bearings in the pump wear out, that is when the pump will get noisy and that could cause your Maytag top load washing machine water leaks.

Another place that the washer could leak water from, is the stem & seal on the holding tank. When washer leaks water from the stem & seal, the water leaks down the center of the transmission.

When the stem & seal need to be replace, the tub bearing has to be replace at the same time. This is an expensive repair if you have to pay someone to do it. If you do it yourself it will cost you about $110

You can replace the Bellows as it is called but to fix it before you replace it clean it with Bleach to kill the mold and then dry it ALSO after any load you do leave the door open a bit this allows the mach to air dry out and prevents the build up of mold ..Good Luck plz rate this post for me

Miele washing machine

All Miele washing machines and dishwashers need to fill in a required time. Flashing inlet (Tap icon) indicates that the machine can not fill in time. There are filters in the end of the hoses which connect to your water supply from the machine and filters in the inlet valves which you can get at by removing the hose from where it fixes onto the machine it'self. You will need some long nose pliers to grab the little tab on the small filter to get it out. Clean all filters and hoses. Still same problem then check the pressure of the water coming into the machine. There should be a good pressure coming out of the hose and will be difficult to stop the flow of water with your finger.
