came with windows vista homeprenium but i want to install xp on to it .. but when i do and try to burn a dvd or cd with NTI or NERO the cd always fails saying the desk is full .. but they are brand new disks and work in my other PCs
and the dvd burner works great in vista but the problems crop up when i am using windows xp

- i have Nero9 (the latest) and also NTI CD & DVD Maker installed in both XP and VISTA
and the drivers were found automatically for the DVD Burner in xp and vista ..
which version of nero? you are a bit unclear on what you are wanting to do. did you install nero to both vista and xp. a dual boot system requires the programs to be installed to both operating systems to function on each. also, the programs must be compatible with both os's. lastly, did you install the dvd burner driver or allow xp to do it? it should have been plug and play so no problem should have occurred.
