Question about Toshiba Satellite 1115-S103 Notebook
I bought this laptop at Circuit City in Dec 2002.Two years later my keyboard stop working. At first a couple keys stop working then all the keys stop working. What can I do to have it fix?
The problem is that I live In Guyana in South America. Is there anything you can advise me to do? I have some repairs skills.
Has the laptop gotten Wet, Or there Maybe excess Humidity there. U can try taking it apart and cleaning the nodes where the keys touch the motherboard/membrane, also the ribbon connector into to the connecters, check and clean.. Clean this area with alcohol and a q-tip GENTLY,let it air dry and re assemble . This may or may not help your problem. because the water/moisture infiltration in the the connectors, can cause these kinds of problems. Good Luck
