Question about Betty Crocker BCF1357 Work Top Blender
I am not exactly sure which model of BC blender I have, but it looks like all other 6-lug plastic interface to the bottom of the pitchers 6-lug interface have. I would like to know if there is a replacement part for the motor side 6-lug interface? It looks like the armature is approx. 3/8" hex shaft or 10mm hex shaft that this 6-lug plastic interface is pressed onto.
Is the shattered part able to be "recreated" with a bit of superglue or similar? not to use as such, but just so you could take it to any reasonably competent machine shop and get them to copy it in a similar material. Try http://www.tritronicsinc.com/aca.html and they may be able to help with a relatively common replacement part such as this. Another route to go is to try and find a similar model that isn't working and cannibalise - any local domestic electrical repair shop might be worth a try, or internet exchange forums. Good luck
