Click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker

volume you can change your settings there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar for any

further volume control settings you will need to right click on the speaker volume icon system select adjust volume

click start control panel sounds and audio volume advanced speakers select the appropriate speakers

from the drop down list or navigate to the device manager scroll to system devices + to expand system

speaker right click properties then select use this device (enable) also you might check

the speaker plug/outlets is usually at the back of the computer or if its a laptop on the side

you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make

sure the connection is good with no dust as dust causes static electricity

clean your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is

no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit

dust causes static to build up in a computer

hope this helps

Sound on the speaker is very low voices are barely audible. have tried all eq settings but sound remains low please help

Look through your receiver's DSP sound settings. When you locate the volume control for the center channel, adjust it to be in balance with the music and sound FX. Often, I just forget about the DSP and run the sound in stereo with subwoofer. Helps to minimize the different audio mixes between different TV STATIONS AND DVDs.

Sound is barely audible even when volume is at 100 ... It sounds like it's all treble even though I checked the base, treble, balance, surround, etc. Should I replace the factory speakers??

Let verify first to narrow down to where the problem can be, attach the powered PC speakers to the Audio Line out RCA jacks to see if you can get the sound there, if you do, then the problem can be in the power amp circuits, if you do not get the sound at RCA jacks, then the problem can be in the sound processor circuit. Please post back what you find. You may be better off if the sound does work through the PC speakers, to get the TV repaired, it will be more than $100 and up

Low volume on my HP Pavilion dv6-1245

Open the audio panel (settings -> control panel -> Sounds and audio devices -> volume). Check that the volume slide is all the way to the right. Also, click on the "speaker volume" button and check it is all the way to the right

The speaker volume is barely audible, even with the sound turned all the way up

Sorry to bug you, folks - I was able to solve this problem really easily, by rebooting the whole system (I'm on a SunRay Thin Client, not a PC).
Best regards, A.

Very low volume.

If you get the remote look under menu see sound settings, otherwise somewhere under menu should be a reset option do try that
