Johny brown is wrong.... the 2005 ford f150 2wd requires a rotor/bearing assembly it is really really easy to change...... jack it up remove wheel, 18 mm wrench to remove caliper mount... then remove spindle cotterpin and nylon nut (26mm? ) with any luck the rotor/bearing /hub will pull right off ...if not a make shift lever/puller should do the trick.... I actually had a bearing frozen on the spindle that i used heat and a small 3 jaw puller to get the bearing free.... if everything goes smoothly you should be done in less then 30 min

okay i assume the rotor is off, remove the bolts out the back, take a hammer and beat the front of the hub the top then bottom then the sides to free, hit so that hub pull out,you will be hitting the back side the hub where the wheel would sit,if that doesnt work then use a chisel to break free, stick it where the hub meet spindle,ITs just frozen beat it.a56579d.jpg

SOURCE: front wheel hub assembly replacement

if you have basic knowledge you should be able to carry out this job yourself. you will probably need to ring a dealership and ask very kindly if you could have the torque settings for the nuts and bolts ect.

hope this helps.

How to remove gokart golf trolley front wheel

Paul, your solution does not apply to the GoKart electric golf trolley. Please use the following procedure to replace the bearings in the GoKart front wheel;1. Unscrew one of the round black plastic nuts on the end of the front wheels spindle.2. Hold the remaining nut, and by twisting and pulling on it, the front wheel spindle can be pulled out.3. You can then remove the front wheel.4. Remove the old bearings and fit the new ones. They just push into the front wheel.5. Clean and grease the spindle before re-assemby.

How to replace front wheel bearings on 2005 ford freestyle

The front wheel bearings are replaced with the entire hub assembly, we don't have the exact model info but we do have access tot he Ford Explorer instructions, which are pretty much exactly the same procedure with minor differences. Bolt torque on the new hub nut is 285 Foot pounds, you do need heavy duty tools as you will see.

2007 toyota tacoma replace front wheel bearing prerunner

The other guys have never taken the wheel bearings out of a 2007 Tacoma! Remove the tire (duh)
Remove the 12mm bolt holding the brake line securing bracket
Un-clip the air sensor hose clip
Remove the two 17mm bolts holding the brake assembly on the back side
Remove the rotor from the wheel "spindle"- slides right off.
Unscrew the four metric bolts (maybe 17mm) holding the wheel housing to its mount (they cannot be removed from the assembly yet, see below).
That's right there is no normal wheel spindle with a big nut on the end of a threaded shaft in the middle!
The wheel mounting plate (with the 6 studs) is pressed into the bearing housing.
Get a replacement bearing assembly and take it and your old unit to a machine shop (unless you have a good press).
An easy job, just expensive- $140 for the bearing assembly.

How to replace front wheel bearrings on a 2005 aveo

the front wheel bearings on this model are pressed into the knuckle. This means the knuckle will need to be removed from the vehicle and then brought to either a machine shop are a repair facility than can press the old bearing out and then press in the new bearing.

Removing the knuckle should be fairly self explanatory.
-Separate the tie rod from the knuckle.
-remove the brake caliper.
-remove the rotor.
-remove the axle nut.
-separate the lower ball joint from the knuckle.
-remove the drive axle from the hub.
-remove the knuckle from the strut.

It is very important that the axle nut be torqued to the proper spec once the bearing has been replaced. Failure to do so will result in the bearing failing prematurely. It is also advisable to get a bearing from a quality, reputable, manufacturer. This is not the time to shop with you check book but it also doesn't mean you need the most expensive one either.

I need to know where may I find the manual or instructions on replacing a 2005 nissan maxima wheel bearing?

The front wheel bearing is a pressed in bearing. It will require the services of a machine shop to press out the old bearing and press in the new one. What you will need to do is separate the knuckle from the front suspension of the car.

Remove the axle nut. Separate the outer tie rod from the knuckle. Remove the caliper and the rotor. Separate the lower ball joint from the knuckle. Remove the two bolts that hold the knuckle to the strut. Once the knuckle is free you can take it into a machine shop or some auto shops and have the bearing pressed in and out. I will add that it is also common for the front hub (the part that has the wheel studs in it) to wear out on these as well so don't be surprised if they tell you you need one.

2005 ford escape assembly diagram for the front axle

If they are sealed bearings, you will need a press to get them out. If they are bolt in, just remove the brake pads/rotors, then the axle nut, then the bolts holding the wheel bearing in. Install in reverse order.
