I have changed the black toner on my Dell 1320C Laser Printer and the little light next to the black toner indicator is blinking along with the exclamation point. I have tried everything I found online to fix the situation. Yes, it's Dell toner. I've tried 2 new toner cartridges and even put the old one back in again, and still the same 2 blinking lights. I have reset the machine by pressing the button in the back. I have also pushed the reset button and then the continue and cancel buttons together and that didn't help. I have taken it apart and put it back together. There's none of those little tabs that come with it for shipping or anything like that. I am stumped. Any help would be appreciated.

It's possible to be the chip failure. Try to change the chip or reset them (using an chip reseter). Also you can search for service manual on the internet. In the manual you can find more possible causes of your printer failure and how can repair it.

this will sound dumb, make sure you remove all the shipping materials from the cartridge including anything that may be over the electronic components to let the printer identify the new cartridge.
