Question about Maytag Neptune MCG8000AW Gas Dryer
Hi, I have an eleven yr old Magtag Neptune gas dryer Model MDG3000AWW. The last two dryer loads dried, but my laundry room was filled with moisture (windows, cupboards). We checked the back, cleaned the exit exhaust and made sure it was attatched. Started to dry another load and two hours later still wet clothes. The moisture lights were working (still had wet clothes!) the dryer ran, but the dial did not advance to being done. I am an appliance idiot. I have not taken and part of the dryer covers off. This is where I stand now ( next to about ten loads of clothes!) Hope you can help. I really don't want to buy a new dryer right now. Thanks, Mary Beth
Check in the hole where the screen goes for blockage. Many times debries falls in there when removing screen. It cant make it out of the vent so it builds up and clogs the vent.
