i'm just starting to try to wear mine on a regular basis. i have tried to put it on my waist band any number of ways but as soon as i bend over or basicly anything other than just be in an upright position, it falls straight off! i'm wondering if this happens a lot to everyone or what? and if it does, where else can you put it so it doesn't fall of so much? could i put it on my bra strap and it still be accurate?
ps. i have one that measures miles, how many miles should be a good basic daily goal?
Just over 2,000 steps = 1 mile and they recommend you get atleast 10,000 steps a day ... so 5 miles. Mine has a clip and it goes on my waistbelt on whatever I'm wearing and hasn't fallen off yet.

I have a Sportline Model 342 Pedometer. The battery and cover recently fell out while I was hiking. I have no backup info on the pedometer or battery and have been unsuccessful in getting on Sportline.com to view their manual. I understand this pedometer is a Legacy product that Sportline no longer makes. What model no. battery works with this pedometer?

My pedometer was working fine but then the LCD screen stopped working, as if it were turned off. Is it the battery, or is that just for the flashlight and panic alarm (which are still functioning?) None of the buttons will turn the LCD back on.
