Maintaining your Rower is important to ensure you don't prematurely wear it out. The following is a brief guide of the most important things to make sure you get the most out of your machine.
Key areas of importance when it comes to Rower maintenance;
Cleanliness:
After each workout, it is really important to wipe any sweat off your Rower. Sweat will eat away at paint and powder coat. Over time this will allow sweat to get to the metal of the frame and may cause rusting issues.
Guide Rail:
This area needs attention every week. It needs to be kept free of dust and debris. If the wheels roll over dust and debris it ingrains itself in either the wheel or the rail itself. Over time this will put the wheels or guide rail making for a bumpy workout.
Chain:
If you have a chain attached to your rowing handle once every 6 months you should give it a light oiling. The chain should be free of build-up before re-greasing if it is dirty use an automotive degreaser and paper towel to remove the build-up.more info click here

General Maintenance for Xbox 360.

Just some general maintenance tips for your xbox 360.
1. Making sure to leave the box flat on the ground as when put standing up it can shake and cause damage to discs.
2. Never ever move your xbox while a disc is running inside. This will usually result in the disc being damaged.
3. Keep the xbox in a well ventilated place. Overheating can occur if your not careful.
4. Ensure the xbox is free from dust especially around the vents as again this can cause over heating.

Thanks and hope these tips are useful!

When using the walking foot how does the guide work?

Yes, you would set the guide at the distance you want the next row to appear. Set the guide to follow the previous row and then stitch with the walking foot to create the new row.

Do rowing machines work out the abs?

Generally, rowing machines are used to develop the back, legs, and arm muscles. But they do also work out the abdominal muscles, especially when you straighten yourself and when you bend.

When I sew a seam, the bobbin stitch will just pull right out. Anything that I can try?

It has not been under tension when the seam was sewn, check your bobbin threading sequence and refer to your manual. The thread needs to click into a tension spring or similar device on all sewing machines.

For general machine tips, maintenance and help, try www.sewing.about.com - it has lots of information.

The stitches are not interlocking, the top line looks OK but the bottom line is a straight thread, I would be grateful for your help. Thank you, I've lost the manual Brother PS33 quick system

Tension issues, sounds like the bobbin thread is not under tension at all. Take it out, and rethread the bobbin into the tension device. Sorry, don't know if your machine has a bobbin case (front loading) or is a top loading bobbin directly into a bobbin holder.

You might be able to get a threading diagram from www.sewusa.com or try www.sewing.about.com for general diagrams and tips.

Check what number your top tension dial is set to also.

Good idea to obtain another manual as you'll need to refer to it for maintenance of your machine as well as general use.

My Brother MFC-5440CN states machine error 7E. Help!!

error 7e means "no head parameters stored in the eeprom".

1) locate the head data sticker at the front left of the machine. it should have a 12 digits number at the top row and headx..... at the second row. the data is the 12 digits number. if the sticker is missing somehow, there's another one at the head/carriage unit.

2) enter maintenance mode.

3) enter 6 and 8 for property data entry

4) enter 2 5 8 0 within 2 seconds and you're at the data entry state.

5) key in the 12 digits number. use # and 1 to 6 to enter letter a to f.

6) hit the ok button. machine should beeps and display "input accepted". if it say "input error" there's a checksum error, meaning you keyed the number in wrong. it will return you to the data entry state.so just key the number in again (step 5).

7) exit maintenance mode. done.
