I have ACT! 10.03 installed on my VISTA desktop computer. Recntly I downloaded the beta version of Windows Explorer (the latest). Now I can not get into ACT! anymore. The message reads: ACT! by Sage has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly, Windows will clsoe the program and notify you if a solution is available. None has been offered so far. Can somebody help? Regards, Olaf Trunzer
I am operating on a 64-bit VISTA (Optima) with MS Office 2007 and ACT 10.03 installed.
Recently I had to download .net 2.0 for another program. As a consequence, ACT! has stopped working. the message I get reads as:
ACT! by Sage has stopped wotking.
A problem cause the program tostop working correctl. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
It appears that this is a conflict between windows and ACT!. I desparately need to have ACT! up and running again with over 30,000 reords stored.

There is currently no free version of Microsoft Office available. The 2010 beta version is now coming to an end, and will require an upgrade, A free alternative is Open Office, which is fully compatible with Microsoft Office documents. You can download it directly from here:
Hope this helps.
The Genuine microsoft appers in desktop cause if you set your Automatic Updates Enabled then the computer of your's has downloaded a genuine validator therefore if the genuine validator finds that the OS you have installed in your computer is not genuine then it will continues to pop it up. My recommendation: Download a genuine validator crack and installed it in your computer. You can search it in the internet using www.google.com or you can reinstall your XP/VISTA OS then don't forget to disable the Automatic Updates find in your Security Center located at your Control Panel.
you could try dragging the files from the roxio installation disc onto the desktop. or if downloaded then just go to the setup file. when you find the setup file right click on it then go to properties - compatibility and then click on run this program in compatibility mode for: xp then further down click on the run this program as administrator.
Please let me know if this works and give me a fixya rating if it does.
Office Enterprise is a beta(testing) release & Vista does not accept any beta softwares even if it is from Microsoft. You will have to Intall the Pro version since it has been finally released by Microsft. Also Vista does not support cracked softwares. Best solution is to install OpenOfficeOrg which is an open source code and is compatible with MS Office.
