Question about Computers & Internet
I have ACT! 10.03 installed on my VISTA desktop computer. Recntly I downloaded the beta version of Windows Explorer (the latest). Now I can not get into ACT! anymore.
The message reads:
ACT! by Sage has stopped working.
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly, Windows will clsoe the program and notify you if a solution is available.
None has been offered so far.
Can somebody help?
Olaf Trunzer I am operating on a 64-bit VISTA (Optima) with MS Office 2007 and ACT 10.03 installed.
Recently I had to download .net 2.0 for another program. As a consequence, ACT! has stopped working. the message I get reads as:
ACT! by Sage has stopped wotking.
A problem cause the program tostop working correctl. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
It appears that this is a conflict between windows and ACT!. I desparately need to have ACT! up and running again with over 30,000 reords stored.

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Presumably you could roll-back to a restore point before the install. Just goes to show that Beta's are not a good idea - esp. from MS
