The Yahoo mail box page format has changed. None of my archived mail is visible. No address, etc. I can see a header for new mail that has come in but cannot open or read the mail. This is true on all three desk top computers in the house. Two run XP, one runs vista. One of the XP computers is just a couple of weeks old. I can access my Gmail account fine and my 2 Clearwire mail accounts too.
Fixed it on the advise of others by turning off computer. Restarting and and after many more failed attempts at logging on to Yahoo finally getting logged in (to an unfamiliar Yahoo page) and eventually finding an option titled "mail" and voila, there was my email in the format which am accustomed to.

You can get a new password, a Yahoo! ID reminder, or both. If you forgot your Yahoo! ID or password, go to the Sign-in problem page. If you forgot your Yahoo! ID, you need to provide them three pieces of information so that they can confirm your identity and the three informations are your alternate email ID , your zipcode and your date of birth. If you forgot your password, you can create a new one. But first you’ll have to provide them the following information so that they can confirm your identity. these informations are your Yahoo! ID, your alternate email address, your mobile phone number or the answer to your sevret question. Once this is done they will send you a reset password link to your alternate email ID. (I changed my opinion of the best method for doing this in the middle of my post - read to the very end).
Open Yahoo Messenger (I am assuming you are using Version 9 (Beta). Click on the Contacts tab and go to Message archive. This will pull up all conversations, incl deleted offline messages from pornbots, etc. Right click each folder under the main "Messages" folder and delete them one by one. I tried deleting them in bulk, but this feature doesn't seen to be enabled yet - I would tell Yahoo that they need to improve on this feature when they finalize version 9.

Open Yahoo Messenger. Click the "Messenger" tab. go to Preferences. Click on Archive. Click on "No, do not save any of my messages". Then click, "Clear archive now".
Yahoo's suggested method: To turn off archiving of your instant messages: 1.Click History in the top-right part of the page. 2.Click Options in the upper right of the My History window. 3.Un-check “Enable Message History” in the dialog. 4.Click Done.
please fix my yahoo mail, something keeps coming up saying client error has occured, and now they tell me to click here and I do and it takes foever, what is wrong, and I just want it to be fixed. When I click on mail I do not want to wait and keep clicking and waste so much time.
