If the computer is overheating it will shut down to save the hardware from heat damage, the temp is pre set. It may get hot, due to air flow in a minute or and hour. What does the "screen comes up says problem " say? Check the fan and vents for dust and clean, improve air flow around bottom vents and side vents. Perhaps a Laptop Cooler? When the computer shuts down unepectedly, the computer see it as a crash and will load in that option screen. Run a 'Check Disk" on the OS drive buy opening computer in start menu, right click the drive with the OS (C), open properties, Tools, Check now, choose all options, follow instructions, reboot.
I hope that you have a goood back-up of file. Getting blue screen error is a fatal OS problem. You need to re-install windows. You need to get the CD that came with your computer or the operating system disc you used to install the windows. Insert the disc on the CD-DVD drive and restart your computer. Watch for a Press any key to boot from CD or DVD... message. Installation will start. Good Luck!
this happens when you have errors with the hard drive not responding to the new boot or drivers not responding. is this a clean install or a restore? if you are not using the original xp disk the machine came with you may get these errors. the blue screen usually has a message in it. let me know what it says if you get a second.
Hi there. That really quick flash of a blue screen is the blue screen of death and there is a possibility that the error could be memory related. What you have to do is remove and clean the system memory and the slots the memory goes into. Take out the battery and the AC power (if attached) The memory will be located behind a panel underneath the laptop, unscrew the panel unclip the memory, clean the brass contacts and the slots with a clean, dry, soft paintbrush, then reseat the memory making sure it clips into place, replace the memory cover and reboot the laptop, see if it lets you into windows.
Please post back with the results and more help if needed, good luck and thanks for using FixYa!!
its the problem of your RAM not the hard disc. the blue screen error come because of less memory available for proccessing. so please once remove the RAM and again insert it and reboot your laptop......
