Why wont my everdure gas heater stay alight

Some heaters have to be "warmed up" by holding the button down for approx. 30 seconds after it lights. These are ones with whats called a "thermocouple". The thermocouple has to remain a certain temp. or the unit will shut off. If the thermocouple goes bad, it can be replaced

Heater wont stay lit when i let go of primer button after a few seconds

try holding down the button for 15 to 20 seconds and then let go ( this will let the system heat up to the proper temp ),, if it still will not stay lit then the thermal coupling is bad and needs to be replaced.

When I push my red button in it shut off the fuel and wont stay going

this is caused by a bad thermo coupling. just to make sure that it is in fact bad - hold down the button for about 20 seconds while the heater is going and if after that amount of time the unit still shuts down when you release the fuel button - then replace the thermo coupling.

Gas water heater wont keep lite my gas water heater keeps shutting off and has to be restarted pushing the 2 button iginition

If your water heater is a sealed burner type with the poush button ignition(piezo) then the problem could be with the secondary air intake screen under the water heater. It will be located inside the compartment under the water heater. This is where the gas burner gets combustion air. If that screen gets clogged with lint or dust this can cause the water heater to keep shutting off. You will need to use a air compressor and completely blow out that coimpartment and screen as best you can. Also be aware that if you have a Whirlpool water heater they had a problem with the gas control valves on these and it might be covered under a recall. Call the number located on the water heater to find out further information.

Heater won't blow heat and keeps running

first try to pull out the little white button on bottom left side. if it is already pulled out, then take cover off, lightly press on the center dial as you adjust the little adjusters that are in the dial. should be two of them, the first should say off set to 90, second one says on set to 130or 135. these steps may work. if not then one of the wire connections may be loose.
