What's happening when you try reprogramming? When you press the "learn" button on the opener, does the indicator come on like it's supposed to? If so, all you should need to do is press the large button on the remote, or enter a new code for the remote keypad.

Why Can't I add another remote to a merlin mt60p

If you purchase additional transmitters, the garage door
opener must be programmed to accept the new remote
code.
Program the Receiver to Match Additional Transmitter
Codes:
Using the orange "LEARN" Button:
1. Press and hold down the transmitter button you wish to
program to the opener. The orange LED will flash to
indiciate it is receiving signal from the transmitter.
2. Press and release the "LRN" button.
3. The sourtesy LEDs will flash once.
Ensure the door is clear of obstruction, then test the
transmitter.
Using the Motion Detecting Control Panel
(optional accessory):
1. Press and hold the button on the hand-held remote that
you wish to operate your garage door (1).
2. While holding the remote button, press and hold the
LIGHT button on the Motion Detecting Control Panel (2).
3. Continue holding both buttons while you press the push
bar on the Motion Detecting Control Panel (all three
buttons are held) (3).
4. Release buttons when the opener light flashes. It has
learned the code. If the light bulb is not installed, two
clicks will be heard (4).
Now the opener will operate when the transmitter push
button is pressed. If you release the transmitter push button
before the opener light flashes, the opener has not learned
the code.
To Erase all Transmitter Codes:
To deactivate any unwanted remote, first erase all codes:
Press and hold the orange "learn" button on opener until
the learn indicator light goes out (approximately 6 seconds).
All previous codes are now erased. Reprogram each remote or keyless entry you wish to learn.

Want to change the code of the motor and remote controls need to change the code with which the remote opens the garage door

You cannot change codes. If you erase all the codes from the memory and then reprogram everything you will be right back where you were. If you want to eliminate one remote so that it no longer will work with your unit you can locate the smart/learn button on the rear of the motor unit near where all those white wires go. Press and hold this for 6 seconds. Now none of your remotes will work. To program it for your remotes you need to hold the button on a remote while you press and immediately release the smart/learn button. Do this for each remote.

Neighbours remotes open my garage door

It is very important to erase the memory of your unit and then reprogram your remotes. Erase the memory by holding the smart/learn button in for 6 seconds. None of your remotes or wireless keypad will work. Now program your remotes this way. Press and hold the button down on your remote and then press and immediately release the smart learn button.

If you have a wireless keypad program it like this. Press and immediately release the smart/learn button and then walk over to your keypad and key in your 4 digit code.

I would make sure your neighbor isn't using his opener when you are programming your keypad.

I have 2 sears door opener the remote not workinng we re set the coadswill not open door

FIRST CHECK TO SEE IF THE LOCK/VACATION BUTTON ON THE WALL CONTROL HAS BEEN ACTIVATED. THE LED ON THE WALL CONTROL WILL BE FLASHING. - SIMPLE SOLUTION PUSH THE LOCK BUTTON AND HOLD FOR 2 SECONDS TO TURN OFF LOCK FUNCTION.

SECOND TRY TO REPROGRAM THE REMOTES TO THE UNIT - THEY WILL SOMETIMES LOSE MEMORY IN AN ELECTRICAL STORM.

IF REPROGRAMMING DOESN’T HELP TRY REPLACING THE BATTERIES IN THE REMOTES AND THEN REPROGRAM.

HOPE THIS HELPS

How does everything look well? How old is unit? Did you push learn button for 10 seconds. Then pusj for 1 second and activate a remote button. lightbulb on motor should blink. if so, hit learn again for 1 second and push button on other remote. Do you have a LOCK or VACATION button. Keylees entry and remote controls do not work at the same time

There are two types of technology with this operator (rolling code and non-rolling code). This operator will except one or the other but not both. It is not uncommon for a rolling code (Security+) remote or keyless to lose the "rolling"part of its technology and become a non-rolling code device so it is not compatable with the rolling code technology. You will need to replace the one remote or keyless that is not like the others.
