The lamp of the unit got busted and noticed that the left and right side (outer) is getting warm. The temp is quite hot (hot enough to feel uncomfortable when touched). I had an electrician check the grounding, found ok.

Unplug overnight or remove the coil cover on the inside of the fridge. I suspect it has iced up. Also make sure the condensation drain is clear at the inside back of the fridge. It might keep icing up if a little water has backed up and unable to drain away from the coil. Either fridges work or don't. It is very basic. Ice actually is bad and causes multiple issues. Most frost free fridges have a heating element that warms the coil momentarily. It might have burned out if iced up for some time.
the unit should have heat coming off the condenser coils on the back. some of the units have a little fan motor to help cool the condenser. make sure there is plenty of space for air flow around the unit, as this is crucial to normal operation.
if your able to defrosting your freezer and it happen that melting at both side only,but it should not building up frost,your defrosting switch or your defrost heating element is busted.you cant check using multi tester perhaps you should knowledge on using tester.this should be done by ref/aircon technician.have a nice day.
You may have a dust build up on the condenser coil. You may notice the jam of the ref door being very warm. This is an indication of a dirty coil (located under your ref) that just needs to be cleaned or your fan motor in the back of the unit may have failed and stopped turning.
Leaving the refrigerator is storage for a period of time should have no ill effects. From what you say, I have to guess that the refrigerator's outer case is warm to the touch, specifically in the area around the freezer opening. That is not a problem, it is designed to use "waste heat" from the cooling system to warm this area to prevent condensation from forming there without having to use the extra energy required if an electric heater were used. It will be noticeably warmer while the compressor is running and has been running for a time than if the compressor has been off for a period of time.

Newer (and I mean under 15 years old or so) refrigerators may run more % of the time than older units, but are using far less energy while running, so total energy consumption is actually less. The newest energy star models often use less electricity than a single incandescent light bulb uses if left on 24/7. If your run times are noticeably longer just recently, and there have been no other significant changes to account for it (like more and / or longer door openings or a warmer ambient temp., etc.) then you may have caught a defrost problem or bad door gasket problem early. The warm temp on the outer case near the freezer is to prevent condensation from forming in those areas, and is normal. (as a matter of fact, older refrigs often used low wattage electric heaters for that task, almost all newer units use waste heat from the cooling system to accomplish that task) Please don't bother rating this solution, as anything but a Fix-Ya lowers my overall score. not dangerous, i would recommendvacuuming coils under and behind refrig, make sure the fan behind the unit( cooling for compressor) is running full speed. the water is probably "warmer" then usual because the waterline runs across the bottom of the refrig, which appears to be overheating as it is. this should rectify your issue
Many refrigerators use the waste heat extracted from the inside of the refrigerator to warm these areas in order to prevent condensation from occurring there. It is more efficient than using an electrical strip heater to do the same thing. This is perfectly normal.

to hasten the process, remove the back panel inside the freezer and you will probably find the pipework frozen up. melt of the ice carefully with a hairdryer making sure you don't heat any stats that are clipped on the pipework
