Question about Fisher and Paykel Fisher Paykel Intuitive Eco Washer IWL15

Open Question

Dishwasher pumps out , then shows F7 and nothing more happens

The model is Fisher & Paykel Nautilus. I put a pot of water in. in case the pump was not working. I set it to 'normal' after the F7 came up and then pressed 'start/reset.' It did another another pump - out and returned to F7 and 'rinse.' I pressed 'start' again. It pumped out and showed 'finish'. Then it went back to 'time remaining' '0:10'. Nothing happens after that.

I have previously had this problem when there was too much rinse aid (the F&P mechanic recommended not using any rinse aid). It is doing it again today, and I am just flushing the system with litres of water poured in and then letting the machine drain it out.

Same problem here. We started getting the F7 error months ago. It seemed to be related to us using the taps in the house when the machine was running. That's no longer what we think: we put the machine on at night before we go to bed and it STILL comes up with F7.

After getting the error I have to hold down reset for 5 seconds, let is do its thing, and then turn it off at the wall. Start again ... and sometimes ... just sometimes ... it'll get through a complete cycle. Funnily enough though I did just top up the rise aid the other day. Could it be as simple as that?

By the way, my machine also seems to be increasing the time it takes to do a cycle. Our normal wash has increased from 1:18 a minut at a time and is now sitting at 1:30!!!

SOURCE: the drain/circulation pump quit on my fisher paykel gwl11

Checked the control board for a fuse.  Found two fuses on the printed circut board.  Checked both for continuity, one had none a 6.3 amp fuse sodered into the board.  went to a local electronics store and purchased a similar and replaced fuse.  Everything works fine now.

The problem could be with flood switch at base of dishwasher. Press the float to check if it springs back. Otherwise switch under it is faulty.

I get an F7 error when using my Fisher & Paykel Dishwater Nautilus Model DW691ED WH

F7 means there is a bad communication between the motor and the control board. Make sure none of the wires are broken and if not, then replace your control board in the front face of your dishwasher.

How to reset the flood switch on a fisher & paykel

Hi - unfortunately my good friend it cannot be reset as one would like quite easily anyhow... water has found its way to the base of the drwaers and have activated the flooding switch - one could pull it apart to dry it - tip the water out from the base but if the leaks not repaired you will have the same problem later and will be on-going.

5 Fault Codes

I have a Fisher & Paykel dish drawer model number DD603 and it is not draining. Any tricks?

Hi

Dishwasher not pumping issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or drain pump. Check the drain hose for any visible clogging, remove if present. If no visible lint is present then remove then turn off the dishwasher and remove the drain hose and check for any visible clogging. If still not visible then the drain filter or drain pump is clogged and you’ll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump.

Please check the parts manual for your dishwasher, check the drain pump & drain filter's location from the link---

Fisher and Paykel Dishwasher DD603 Parts Manual

Please note that dishwashers don’t pump out the complete water such that heating element doesn’t overheat. Please post back for any further assistance.

What is F4 error on fisher paykel dishwasher?

Hi,
It means your filter is dirty. Remove metal plate at bottom & scrub with a toothbrush. Clean arms as well.
Clean all around the door & pull out the lift out filter, scrub clean with a toothbrush.

Fisher & Paykel Dishwasher

If the machine has stopped and still has water in it, the drain pump is jammed. The pump is situated under the machine on the right hand side and can be accessed if you tilt the machine back against a wall. Try turning the motor fan by hand. Sometimes it will clear any foreign matter caught in the pump. If still jammed, remove pump by switching the machine off at the wall and pulling out the plug. Remove the wiring harness from the pump and turn it clockwise while releasing the white plastic clip which holds it in place and keeps it from turning on its own.
