User instructions for Kenwood TK240 Two Way Radios

I have just retrieved my old Kenwood Two Way Radios from the loft after about 8 years in hibernation and after re-charging them, they both work perfectly, however I cannot find my old user instructions/manual.

Does anyone know where I can get a copy (pref free), or have a copy I can have?

I have tried searching on the internet but could not find anything.

Cheers

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: Motorola D700 (Ex Dolphin Tetra) Radio

Buying the MTH programming cable from china, then download the D700 software from warez sites. I reprogrammed 4 of my D700's to work back to back. It took about 2 minutes in the software and worked a treat.

They have a 3 mile radius and brilling speech quality.

I paid £11 for the programming cable and downloaded the software for free.

My email is andrew@cergo.plc.uk if you want help.

Kenwood TK860HG-1 instruction manual

Hi,

I take it you require a copy of the user manual for your unit, if this is so, try the following: join yahoo group specific to your radio Make/Model, the team there has great advice and info for your radio, plus you can download manuals, diagrams and other goodies for your radio, and all is free.

I hope this info is of help to you.

Cheers,
Peter

Hello,I have four walkie talkie brand new from Kenwood, UBZ LF 14, and they work in the PMR band. Now I'm living in Italy and the PMR band is not allowed for family use by the Government The family...

Elio:
Your local Kenwood rep is correct for a couple of reasons:

1. The cost to modify your current radios to operate on the Italian band would be higher than the price of new radios.

2. Operating modified radios would be a violation of Italian laws.

Look at the user manuals for both radios and compare the frequency assignment for each channel. find the ones that match and program the radios to talk to each other.

Ipod

On the Kenwood models that are within about 6 or 7 years old or newer, there is an iPod adapter for the head units that plugs into the CD Changer port on the back of the radio. Kenwood makes an adapter (KCA-IP500) that gives direct control and charging through the radio and several companies make aux input adapters for Kenwood radios that will connect to the iPod's headphone jack.
