Denon DRA-397 zone 2

zone 2 is just for an extra set of speakers in another location, your sub is not attatched to that zone

When reciever is turned on, green light flashes and then the system turns off and the red light flashes

You have a short, either in the receiver or in a speaker wire. Disconnect all speakers at the receiver and turn it back on. If it stays on, reconnect speakers one by one and test by powering up the receiver. You will either find the short or fix the problem. If your receiver still shuts off with no speakers attatched, it needs to be serviced. Hope this helps

The unit displays "protect" and then shuts down to standby. amber lite. Don't have a manual to see what this means, or the cause.

Disconnect all speaker wires at the receiver then turn it back on. If it stays on, the receiver is ok and you need to reconnect speakers one by one and test by powering back on. Chances are good that a loose braid between the positive and negative posts are touching creating a short. This is one of the most common problems found. If your receiver still shuts off with no wires attatched, it needs to be serviced. Then you still need to check all connections. If you need further help with this issue, post a comment and I can help you troubleshoot further. Hope this helps.

Receiver Overload error message

Disconnect all speaker wires at the receiver, then turn it on and up. If it stays on, check your speaker wires one by one, then check your speakers one by one. If it still cuts out with nothing attatched, it needs serviced or replaced.

Overload wihout any attatched components

If you don't have anything attatched to the unit and it display's "overload" Your unit needs to be serviced. Output transistors are shorted. Get an estimate and weigh the cost of repair vs. replacement. Hope this helps

Faulty Bugaboo Bee

I to had this problem, my problem was i also lost proof of purchase so couldnt get a new chassis, Bugaboo even though the prams havent been out for two years wouldnt replace so i had to try and either fix the pram or buy a new chassis for £235. I then read on the internet about how to remove the rivets on the chassis, you need a rivet gun and a drill the problem was the rubber had broken and fallen way down the pram chassis and if you can replace this with some new rubber the chassis is good to go (just make sure you do this slowly so you can see what part goes back where), you need to buy new rivets as when you remove the old olds these are no longer useable, i am soo happy i tried to fix this, it took me and my sister 1/2 hour and saved me £235 (the price quoted by Bugaboo for a new chassis). Hey hope this helps anyone and saves you having to line Bugaboo pockets, hey theres a clearly a niche in the market as Bugaboo do not have a work shop, they clearly want you to keep spending!!!!
