Hi i have a Honda Accord 2006 SE. It has a 6 disc CD changer and it had been working fine. Suddenly now i am seeing CR ERR message and CDs dont play anymore. Whenever i turn on the CD player it says CD...

Personally I would just replace the radio. In dash changers go bad easily and are basically just a problem waiting to happen. The average life span of an in dash changer is about two years.

I have a peugeot 207cc and I had a peugeot cd changer(it is actually a Blaupunkt)installed. My problem is that the cd changer always starts from cd 1 track 1 on initial startup and does not remember which...

Hi,

I would venture that the main B+ wire of the Blaupunkt CD Changer is not connected to an always on B+12 such as the positive terminal of the battery. This wire is responsible for memory/location/track last play retention. The other B+ of the CD Changer is the remote trigger on which is fed by and from the head unit. This in effect makes the unit operate with two (2) B+,an always on and a triggered on.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.

Hi jag xjs 1993 cd cassette wont eject as no 6 stuck in any hints on how to eject the casestte?

you would have to take the to off of the changer. If you can do that, on top of the cd mechanism is a large gear which slides the trays in and out of the magazine, If you can, move the gear so the tray slides back into the magazine. The changer will probably work once that gear is freed.

I have a 2008 escalade with a 6 disc changer and navigation. my disc will load and unload but they wont play once loaded.

The laser eye might be dirty. I think they still sell cd laser eye cleaners. Or you could try spraying some canned air like air duster in the cd slot.

My Lexus Rx33006 6 disc cd changer will not read mp3's. My question is what format does it support?

That one will be tough to find out for sure.. it most likely will not play back MP3 - very few CD Changers did. the dealership most likely will not know. There was only 1 CD changer ever made that I know of that played MP3's - a Sony.

Best bet is visit your local car audio specialist and have them show you some option to integrate your favorite MP3 player with your RX's radio.

WHEN YOU PLACE A CD IN THE CD CHANGE IN MY 2000 LEXUS GS300 IT SHUFFLES THE CD AROUND THEN DISPLAYS WHICH NUMBER THE DISC IS IN BUT IT WILL NOT PLAY OR DO ANYTHING. SHOULD I BUY A NEW CD CHANGER? OR COULD...

if its a burned cd, check to see if its CD+/-R or CD+/-RW.
some older model cd changers dont play cdrw's.

if its a store bought cd, have the changer looked at by an electronics specialist.
