You need to know what version you're using. Media Player has nothing to do with what brand of computer you install it on.

    Things you'll need:

    What OS are you using.
What version of media player you're using.
    The processor you're using
How much memory do you have.

It could be anything from your machine not having enough horsepower to work properly, or you could have a disk fragmentation problem.

We need more information to be able to solve your problem.

If the media player is slow or jumpy it could be that your hard drive needs to be cleaned up, disk cleanup and defrag. Also if the video is playing from the dvd drive the drive may need to be cleaned. You can get a cleaner at the Walmart. I hope this helps. Let me know what the media player is doing.
Thanks,
Henry

Most computers today are sold with just barely enough memory to run the operating system. The solution to your problem is to buy and install more main memory.

It is possible that you do not have the video format downloaded program within your PC. So check on the type of file that was downloaded and if the PLAYER FOR THIS FORMAT is downloaded and installed , you will be able to play.

My window media player not play no sounds

You need to download co-decs for your media player and you can fix it.
Go to codecs.com/download/K_lite_codec_pack.htm ">http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_lite_codec_pack.htm and click on "Download K-Lite Codec Pack." When you are taken to the download page, select "K-Lite Codec Pack 5.5.4 FULL" and download the associated file. 2 Install the Codec pack to your local hard drive. Make sure to select "full installation." You may be prompted to restart your computer when the installation is complete. 3 Run your normal media player; attempt to play the video file suffering from missing sound. If the Codec pack installed correctly and you are using a supported media player, the sound should now function properly.
Thanks. Have a great day.

Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a prob

If this is the promblem with any music player in your computer than their is no sound driver installed or some sound files are missing to check if the sound driver is installed you can open the control panel---->sounds and check if the driver is installed if it is not you must install it using the motherboard CD that came along with your Pc

Accidently uninstalled our CD Burner for E Machine T6412.

If your version of windows has a "RESTORE " function , like Xp pro has , just restore the computer to a time before you deleted the file.  If not , I know that the CD function and Media player a function of the windows operating system,so check the downloads for your model unless you have the restore disk already? Safe everything first, somewhere else via floppy, or cable or external Hard drive..
