Use a program called Recova to try and get all possible data off the disc, or try a back up program. then using the formatting program off you buffalo disc do a physical format of the disc (it takes a long time). format your disk. (again it takes a long time) If you want to change from fat32 to nfts right click the disk icon ,select properties, format, chose to format in nfts, select quick format. if all ok re-enter your data. it worked for me.

My ps3 doesnt show audio or video

Hi my name is Juan and let try to solve this did you have try to do the manual reset to the video ok lets do it first turn the unit off and turn the main switch on the back of the unit off place your finger in the on/off switch in front of the unit with your finger there turn the main switch on the back of the unit and you will heard a bip this is when the unit turns on keep your finger there and wait for a second bip once you heard the second bip remove your finger because if you keep it there for too long the unit shufts off and it won't reset the video settings so if you take your finger out at the second bip then just wait about 10 seconds and it should be a picture there thanks and hope this works for you

I have been playing my playstation 3 on a regular Hd tv and it worked fine but now it wont connect to my Protron (HDMI) tv with my HDMI cable.

you have to reset the video setting and it will work again Hdmi is different on each tv so you have set this up again ok let's do this with the unit off turn the main switch on the back of the unit connect your Hdmi cable to your tv now place your finger on the front on/off switch keep your finger there ok now turn the mainswitch on the back of the unit the playstation turns on but don't remove your finget yet wait about 4 seconds or until your heard another bip (not the one when the playstation turns on) once you heard this bip remove your finger before the playstation turns off if you let it turn off try again all of this but if you remove your finger on time just wait few more seconds and bingo you have picture again using Hdmi
