Triton TS80 .... Runs warm for about 5 mins, then switches to cold for a minute r two, then heats up again .... and it freaks me out !!!

Seems to be something to do with the temp of the supply water as it happens in winter but rarely in the summer

Hi it sounds as though the thermostat has gone on top of the can assembly, or moreover it has scaled up & the element needs replacing, if thats the case your better off buying a new unit as the cost of the can assembly & the fitting it will be nearly as much, plus witha new unit you'll be getting a 2 yr guarantee?
Just a thought!

Water from my electric shower is coming from the shower housing rather than through the shower hose. Can this be fixed please?

heating up breaking contact Replace the switch with a 45 amp DP type then try the shower again you may have two faults but more than likely just the one switch . good luck

My triton shower won't turn off and has no hot water

Your supply pressure is too high for the unit, it is too much for the solenoid to shut off, you need to put a pressure limiting valve inline.

Triton t80si shower is very hot even on a low setting then fluctuates between hot & cold, pressure switch is not activating but pressure seems low any advise will be gratefully received.

If the water temp is fluctuating from very hot and cool the problem could lie with a blockage in the inlet to the shower, scale inside the heater can, shower hose needs replacing or the shower head needs to be cleaned The problem is a "slowing" of the water across the heating elements which causes the water to pick up too much heat

Dial not working correctly, set on low numbers water comes out at high pressure, set it on high numbers and the water pressure comes out on low pressure ???? why.... the item in question is a Triton Madrid...

It sounds like the numbers are for the temperature indication and the higher the temperature the more slowly the water runs because it takes longer to heat it.
