Problem hooking up my Yamaha RX-V461 to my PS3

I have 461 yamaha unit and cannot seem to get my sound working from my PS3. My sound is working fine from the cable tv box on the Input DTV/Cable setting. I ran the HDMI cable from the PS3 directly to my LCD Hitachi television. However, when I run the optical cable to the Yamaha receiver, I get no sound. Help?

When you connect the optical cable to the ps3 you must change the output to optical on the ps3. To do this, startup your ps3 then go to settings then audio output settings and change it to Digital Out (Optical).
