If you're putting oil in your air conditioning system, you should probably get the entire system replaced. A/C needs freeon/refrigerant. Do yourself a favour and get a mechanic friend or even an actual mechanic to do this for you.
Replace air filter. Clean the condenser coil located inside box with blower fan. Then readjust freon level so it is correct. Then use air filters, and replace frequently.
Check you ac belt under the hood is not slipping. Check that your ac clutch is engaging. Check your freeon level. It is possible you may have a freeon leak. The mechanics will use a dye to determine if you have a leak and where it is. The leak will be repaired and new freeon put in.
if its the computer climate controlled series then it might be the the vents. what happenes some times is the vent wont switch over from hot to cold or vise-versa. i had the same problem but reversed, no heat in front and it worked up to the last time i had switched it from hot to cold.
