This is mostly caused by the speakers being turned up causing feedback. If you use headphones it should eliminate this problem.
Hope this helps. Bud

When starting it makes a popping sound.

You have to find out where the popping sound is coming from, it can be a bad intake or exhaust valve or bad lobe on the cam, Ignition timing, rich or lean fuel mixture, or just a simple vacuum leak,
check all the hoses on your engine, and listen for hissing while it runs, vacuum leaks are often found by hearing a hissing, even when the brake booster leaks and you hear it hissing by your feet while you drive,,
Good luck, if you find anything and have more questions, leave me a comment, I'll help you!

Have a phiips tv had it in storage for over a year turned it on an the screen working perfectly but there a hising noise coming from the back of it do no what it is... Its a big bk tv not flat screen box...

hissing noise will be from high voltage regulator, i would suggest to do following:

1. switch tv off
2. remove plug from the wall
3. using air blower (compressor attachment - not leaf one!) blow the dust, especially from high voltage box section
4. connect the tv and switch on

if tv still issue hissing noise - follow 1 and 2 then:
3. remove back cover
4. use air blower again...
5. re-install back cover
6. reconnect tv and switch on

if hissing noise persist - check for blown capacitors on high voltage, replace if necessary, they have nasty tendency to pop if they are too long in storage, especially if tehy were overheated or frozen.

hope this will help you solve the problem, do not forget to vote...

I was given just the camera. How can I actually use it with skpe?

I use skype and the program is free for web cams. Just go to www.skype.com and download their free software for web cams. They want you to set up a user name so fill out the form they post in order to use the webcam on skype. The software should find your webcam automatically and you then can add your freinds that use skype by sending them a request. After that you can call them or they can call you. A window will pop up when you get a skype call and you can accept or reject it.

I hope this helps you out.

Occasional hissing noise from a/c 2000 gmc sierra

This is pretty normal, the way the system works is by forcing liquid freeon through a orifice, the liquid turns to gas and gets very cold, the hissing is that process. You might be a tad low on freeon, but you shouldnt be worried.

Water heater makes a constant hissing noise with power on or off?

You have a water leak under the house, but need to know if it's a gas heater or electric. check the Pop off valve on top of the tank it has a short handle and should go threw the floor pull up on the valve and let it sit back down, if it stops the high pressure pop off valve is leaking, you can buy it and replace it for 5 or 10 bucks, if that does not stop it look under the house. Also use a broom stick and put the round end at the wall and the other end near your ear and check the wall and floor for the noise the closer you get the louder the sound. Hope this helps. If you look under the house and see water you know you got a leak in the pipes or the tank itself.

What would cause ice crystals to form on propane line

Bad hose, bad tank, or seals are gone. Recommenend buying a new tank and new hose. The Ice is from the propane freezing and the hissing noise is a leak from somewhere. Better to replace tank and hose and try again. You do not want to take a chance with propane

Hissing.

If the hissing noise is from the LCD, it could be from the power supply due to failing capacitors. This noise is generated when the TV is trying to compensate for the lack of voltage/curent requirements.
