SOURCE: Water level float switch error

You do not mention the model, I presume that it is a cassette, in which case the float switch is located in the indoor unit. You have to remove the cover which is 4 screws. First make sure all power supply is turned off. Then remove the drain pan which surrounds the fan blade. You will see in one corner of the unit a slightly deeper part of the drainpan, this is the corner where both the condensate pump as well as float switch is located. Before you do any of this, give a serious blow into the drain pipe from outside and this may dislodge any sludge which may be causing the floatswitch to stick. You can also pull out a rubber plug which is under the pump on the drainpan.

SOURCE: Air conditioner shuts down constantly, need to

Sorry but you are just going to have to keep emptying it. These types or air conditioners are also use as de-humidifiers and unless you can place it somewhere where you can connect a drain hose it is going to require many trips to dump the holding tank of the condensation.

Usually means that you need to empty the water reservoir, or that the bucket is not seated properly.

SOURCE: condensation buildup

Make sure the unit tilts towards the outside. If it's installed level or tilted toward front it will not drain properly.

Why does it turn off and on

Fl means that the water collection tank is full and needs to be emptied. The unit will turn off if it's full.
I could not find the installation manual for your exact model number, but here's one that's similar enough:

It is PDF filetype, so if you can't view it, you need to download and install Adobe Reader on your computer:

How do i ckean the full water on an LG Portable AC?

If draining the tank didn't solve the problem. Turn the unit OFF and unplug it for 15 minutes. Then plug the unit back in and turn it ON. Turning that time out, hopefully the electronics reset and reverted back to the original factory settings. If so, the Full light should not illuminate. You can then set the controls as you like.

Hope this helped and thanks for choosing FixYa.

Our LG LP0910WNR Air Conditioner keeps getting full of water to the point that we are having to empty it twice a day. We are having trouble getting the water to drain out of the unit. Taking the cap off...

I looked in the manual and it is a summary, but since I have had to do this before, maybe this will help.

(Detailed info on draining is on page 19 of the manual).

Sounds to me like you are NOT fully draining the water reservoir. What it might be, AFTER TAKING OFF THE SCREW CAP ARE YOU THEN REMOVING THE RUBBER PLUG THAT'S IN THE PIPE? I bet you're not.

That would explain why the water is not draining out when you unscrew the cap. That rubber plug is there so that when you unscrew the cap water does not come gushing out.

Warning: Make sure to have at least a one quart pot or container to catch the water once you remove the rubber plug.

Warning: Don't misplace the little rubber plug.

After the water drains, replace the plug, screw on the cap, bam, you're done.

Let me know if that was the problem.

Here's the manual. Product Support

Water is draining out the bottom of my unit, and I do not know how to drain the water out.

Ther is a drain plug on the back of the unit. I believe it's on the left side, down near the floor. Put a shallow sided pan, large enough to handle 2 cups of water, under it and unscrew the cap. The water will drain into the pan. Be Sure the Master ON/OFF Switch is OFF & the unit is unplugged before attempting this.
