Question about LG RU-52SZ30 52" Rear Projection Television
I have a 52' LG RU-52SZ30. The bulb was changed two years ago and was good for a while. Now the picture has been slowly getting worse. The picture loses all normal color and changes to snowy blue and green colors. When I turn it off and wait for it to completely shut down and then turn it on again the picture will be good for a short time and then goes right back to snowy blue and green. Each time the screen comes back on the picture could be fixed or snowy blue/green again. I can still see the picture through all of this, everything just turns snowy blue/green. Sometimes the picture will look good for a few minutes or just a few seconds. Its really random each time I turn it back on. So my question is do I just replace the bulb again? or is it something more than that?????????????
Not sure what causes it but it can be fixxed by your local repair guy, I just had mine fixxed for under a hundred bucks, he takes the back off and with a tiny screw driver adjust a few screws to near brand new perfect picture.. and it has been good ever since
