I have a Element Mp3 2GB While a song starts its 17 seconds it goes to the next one and keeps going also sometime it turns off

the most important think in a dryer is the vent that goes out side,if this is not clean the burner will keep going on and off,try this unplug the vent and then try it,if it works fine then you know its ,your vent clean vent,then put vent back on,all gas dryers have to be vented outside

I have the exact same damn problem. It tempermental, whenever it wants to. I never had a problem until a few days ago. Sometimes I turn on my car and it will play a few songs and than when a next one starts it stops, sometimes right from the get go it won't work. Same thing as you though, it displace the song name but doesn't play it. Its so frusterating.

Its most likely a problem with the song rather than the player.

seems like your sansa gone crazy.. maby you dropped it somewhere or spilled something over it
return it to the store you did buy it and ask for help

Triple Reset for Philips’ GoGear:

Disconnect the Go Gear from computer. Press the reset pinhole until the player turns off. Hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard. If this pop-up does not appear, reset the player again WHILE connected to the computer. Open the Philips Device Manager, and go to Repair Tab. Reset the player one more time while connected to computer. Follow the repair instructions.

After repair is complete, upgrade the firmware for this player. Will erase all the songs, but you should be good to go again.

Best Solution!!! I called tech support (866-823-1671 - very nice/helpful) because my daughter's was doing the same thing. I was told to let the song start to play, press the M button during the song, choose 'Repeat' which will bring up a list of options and then choose 'Normal'. It worked.

Sometimes you may have a bad sector in your hard drive, you may want to remove that song from iTunes, sync (which will take it off your iPod) then add it back into iTunes and sync again (to add it back on, likely in a different spot on the hard drive). If this does not work, you may want to try and convert that song to another format and then convert it back to MP3.

A fix for now is to right click and get info on the song and go to the options tab and tell it to start 1 second into the song.

You should try to restore it. Follow the instructions on Apple's website on how to do so.

some cd players have a feature that is called intro. it plays typically the first 4 to 10 seconds of a song & goes to the next track. it does this to every song on the cd. see if intro is on your display or if it's turned on in the menu. i hope it works. good luck.
