Ensure fan is on auto, switch is on heat, then press to desired temp, then press hold. This manually hold that temp, you have to follow directions on operation manual to set program. Do you have a manual?

I have the Honeywell ct31 replacing my lux 500. I have no ac. when fan is on auto there is a 3-5 minute lag between it and heat in both starting and stopping the burner. is that planned or is somet

Why would you want to set the thermostat below 40? They do that so people won't freeze pipes keep in mind if it's 40 upstairsit's probably near freezing in your basement if applies. Did you label the wires from your old Tstat or take pictures? You can't always go off colors. If this is a heat pump you may need a pro or you'll end up causing damage that may get expensive vs trying to save and doing it yourself.

Have a honeywell thermo 7 day .how to change for centerage to farenheight

1. Turn system off.

2. Simultaneously press up & down arrows for 3 seconds.

3. You will then see a display with a large number to the left and a small number to the right.

4. You should then see a large #1 and a small #1.

5. You want to change that 1(Celsius) to a 0(Fahrenheit).

6. Do that by pressing up or down arrow.

7. Once you've changed that small 1 to a 0 you then press both the up and down buttons for 1 second about three more times to take thermostat back to original screen.

8. Now you should see your room temperature reading in Fahrenheit.

The DEFROST cycle is not engaging out side.EMG(electric only) will heat untill the outside unit melts and is looked at.The noise is the fan blade hitting the ice.

HOW TO I SET TEMPERATURE ON A HONEYWELL NON DIGITAL T8085A?

If it's the old circular honeywell we had one like that for your heat you click the side setting to HEAT and then move the dial aperture to the desired temp. 68-70 degrees. If it's working properly it will make a slight click when it engages your furnace and then cycle it on and off throughout the day. Hop this helps.

I don't know how to set digital thermostat. Heat is coming out instead of air. I need to set the cool air.

Remove the front cover and check your wiring. r-red=power y-yellow=cool w-white=heat g-green=fan.... r-should be hooked up to r-h and a jumper wire-to rc...!
