Look on the very top back edge of the washer, as if you are looking over the back of the machine. If not there, older machines had a sticker on the left side panel at the bottom front.

I have a hotpoint , heavy duty large capacity washer and it runs but after each cycle , you have to manualy turn the knob to next cycle for it to work ,it is an older washer but does it just need the knob...

Some of the old washers have a delay between each cycle that seems long but less than 2 minutes. If this is not the cause you will need to order a new timer not the knob. Sorry if its very old it may not be worth it.

Kenmore Extra Capacity Heavy Duty Washer, Model 4151090, Ser. No. Ca2301977, unable to find a parts list for this. Agitator won't spin, motor and pump works, it's older but can it be repaired?

I would try http://www.appliancepartspros.com/ I am sure that they can find the parts you need. They are the best place for parts and customer service. You will have to contact them because your model number doesn't come up in the search area, but I'm sure they can help. Ive gotten parts from them for a 35 year old GM Frigidaire washer.

Belt came off washer

Spider arm to the washer drum is broken. Parts is expensive and labor to repairs will cost you more than if you just go out and buy a new washer. Sorry for the bad news.

Jammed agitator

Some further checking indicated a bad transmission. As the unit is 15 years old, I decided the best solution was a new machine! ..

Kenmore washer out of balance

go to sears.com and find the parts listing for the 110 model number you have listed above .http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/retrieveModelActionHome!retrieve.action;jsessionid=8mJfynqZfmsdSyTnd9kaQw**.shcapp3005?modelNumber=110.16502694+&pop=flush

You might need one of the springs. unplug the washer and take the cabinet off first. look around for broken or missing parts
