Windows xp -- please try safe mode with networking --
restart the computer press f8 and choose safe mode with networking and try accessing yahoo page. If it works then some of the start up item or Thrid party services are causing the problem.

To perform a selective startup, follow these steps:
1. Click Start, click Run, type msconfig, and then click OK.
2. On the General tab, click Selective Startup.
3. Select or clear the available settings.
4. Click OK.
5. Restart your computer.
6. Repeat steps 1 through 5 until you find the problem.

If safe mode with netwrk has he same problem you need to change the DNS address--

Start - Conrol Panle - Network connection - right click LAN - properties - select tcp/ip protocol click properties.
choose use the followind dns address
type prefered 4.2.2.2
alternate 4.2.2.0
try to acces the page .

Facebook's shortcuts

For the ones who might not know, Facebook has a couple of shortcuts that can make your life much easier when browsing the famous social networking site.

It depends on what browser you are using. Of course there are several differences for Mac users. If you are using Mozilla you need to tap Shift + ALT, not just ALT. Furthermore if you are using Internet Explorer you need to press the Enter key also.

If you are using a Mac, you have to press CTRL+ OPT, instead of ALT.

The first shortcut is to create a NEW MESSAGE: ALT + M.

Unfortunately this shortcut does not work at all in Internet Explorer, but if you are using Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox you can use it without any doubts. The shortcut for Firefox is: SHIFT+ALT+M.

The second shortcut helps us to SEARCH something: ALT + ?.

The shortcut is common on Internet Explorer and Google Chrome, but for Firefox users must tap: SHIFT + ALT + ?. It is a quite useful shortcut because you can easily search all your friends.

Third one is a very used one when you want to reload the first page. You can either hit CTRL + R or ALT + 1 to access the MAIN PAGE.

If you are using Firefox use SHIFT + ALT + 1. For Internet Explorer users tap ALT + 1, then ENTER.

The forth shortcut brings you closer to your PROFILE: ALT + 2.

So if you want to have a quick view of your profile hit SHIFT + ALT +2 in Firefox and ALT + 2, then ENTER for Internet Explorer.

The sixth one is for managing your FRIEND REQUESTS: ALT + 3.

The shortcut is intended for popular users, which receive several requests per day. If you're a popular user that uses Firefox hit: SHIFT + ALT + 3. If you feel you're more popular with Internet Explorer use: ALT + 3, then ENTER.

Eighth- MESSAGES: ALT + 4.

The shortcut opens the Messages page. While Firefox users must hit: SHIFT + ALT + 4, Internet Explorer users must tap: ALT + 4, then ENTER.

Bored already? You shouldn't, because there much more to come. The ninth - NOTIFICATIONS: ALT + 5.

With this shortcut you can see all your new notifications: SHIFT + ALT + 5, for Firefox and ALT + 5, then ENTER for Internet Explorer.

The tenth shortcut brings you closer to your ACCOUNT SETTINGS: ALT + 6.

You may want to change some things on your profile, or update your relationship status, for example. You need to have access to your account settings. You must use SHIFT + ALT + 6 if you're a Firefox user, or ALT + 6, then ENTER if you're using Internet Explorer.

The eleventh shortcut is related to a very important thing: PRIVACY SETTINGS: ALT + 7.

Your privacy is important so you have to have a good control on it. To access it use: SHIFT + ALT + 7 within Firefox and ALT + 7, then ENTER within Internet Explorer.

The twelfth is not an important one, but still opens the FACEBOOK page: ALT + 8.

It is really not an important one. I do not think it is important to see Facebook's profile page. Firefox users ought to use: SHIFT + ALT + 8, while Internet Explorer users ought to use: ALT + 8, then ENTER.

The thirteenth is closely regarded to TERMS AND CONDITIONS: ALT + 9.

If you haven't read the terms, or you are curious what are your rights, or what rules you have to follow use: SHIFT + ALT + 9 in Mozilla Firefox and ALT + 9, then ENTER within Internet Explorer.

Last, but not least, no Fourteenth HELPS you whenever you have some issues regarding the use of the social network: ALT + 0.

You may find here all the answers of your possible questions. SHIFT + ALT + 9 within Mozilla Firefox and ALT + 0, then ENTER in Internet Explorer.
Hi :

You web browser is not stable . Here is what to do : Just go to www.microsoft.com and download internet explorer again and install it , then reboot your system . I'm sure that this will solve the problem . any way , why don't you try other internet communication softwares like ( firefox or google chrome) those both are great also . I advice you to have more than one internet communication software . I already have three just in case if one of them is corrupted . I have ( Internet explorer and firefox and google chrome ) . just try the idea and you'll be satisfied with the result
