My LogiTech mouse stopped working. I cleaned the laser and everything. I have a USB plug and I blew into it to clean it but it still won't work. I don't know much about this but I need help.

Hi, I had a similar problem with a microsoft usb (wired) optical mouse. I shut down my computer and pulled out the usb cord. Mine has four thin rubber pads on the bottom. I removed the two farthest from the usb cord, and underneath each were two screws. I removed those, and then was able to carefully open up the mouse. Inside I found a small chunk of black plastic, that possibly broke off of something. I dumped that out. The usb cord plugs into the circuit board inside through a connector. I partially pulled the connector out of the board, then re-seated it. I also blew puffs of air into the optic (probably an LED). I cleaned the scroll wheel with a Q-tip dipped in alcohol, and cleaned anything else that needed it with a Q-tip and alchol as well. I reassembled it with the screws, stuck the pads back on (still sticky), plugged it back in and booted up my PC again. Now it is working very well if I use it on a black 3-ring binder (not a floppy one, a hard one). I don't know which thing I did was the trick, but it might help you or others. It still doesn't work well on white (paper for example). The connector may have gotten loose, or the plastic chunk may have been blocking the optics.

Weird input cord for my comouter....It looks like usb cord with one end has a triangle end on it female plug with male flat part inside

This is NOT a USB plug, it is firewire. This is a similar but competing technology. Only plug firewire devices into firewire ports not USB.

The USB port on my portable hard drive has fallen into the actual hard drive and I can't plug the USB cord into it. Is there a way to take the case off of it so I can reposition the USB port on the...

Yes, you could disassemble it.
Note that if you "break" something while trying to do so, you could buy an "empty" external casing, and "transplant" your current disk-drive (which still holds all your files) into the new casing.
Probably about $25 for a new "empty" case.

Why wont my USB charger will not stay in back of gps?

There should be enough friction from the plug and the cable to hold it in, look and see if the power receptical has fallen into the GPS or possibly some of the pins have fallen from the cord. But it sounds as if the receptical has broken.

Hope this helps!

Left ear doesnt give out sound

there are two reasons for which your left ear head phone is not working:
1.If the insulation between the wires(copper leads inside the cord) fails....the two leads gets short circuited and it will stop working...OR some times the cord ll be looking good but inside one of the leads got cut then one of the headphones fails...
the solution for the above problem is dont wrap the cord...this ll lead to cut or insulation failure....
2.the speaker in the left head phone got failed...
dont forget to rate me...
good luck...

Hi the USB plug at the end gets loose inside and goes bad. Target sells a direct replacement for it.

If you can't find it in their electronics department look in the automotive section. I believe it cost around $17

Will not print because paper always jams

Perhaps there is paper still jammed inside the printer that you cannot see (or little bits from a previous jam)

1) Turn off the power
2) Disconnect the power cord and USB cable
3) Open the rear cover and see if paper is jammed inside the cassette area. Gently remove any paper and make sure no little bits of paper are left inside
4) Open the scanning unit (printer cover) and check that no paper is stuck internally. Be careful not to touch the components inside the printer.
5) Reattach the power cord and USB cable
6) Power On and retry your print job

There is two seperate cords on this machine. A power cord and a pedal cord. If you put the power cord in and switch the machine on, and then remove the pedal cord it should give you a beeping sound, which shows you the connection does work.

Please give me feedback in order to help you
