L355-S7812 missing wireless adapter driver

I have a L355-S7812. At one point the computer went into hibernation mode and when I turned it back on again an error message of not being able to locate the wireless internet adapter occurred. I can not longer view any wireless connections. when i try to troubleshoot the problem it tells me that I do not have a wireless driver installed when it is built into the computer. The only disk the computer came with is the recovery disk. How do I get my wireless working again?

One bad lead or faulty connection point can cause a computer to shutdown continue restarting on a cycle or fail to detect your hard drive boot up

test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions SATA

the leads from your (motherboard to your hard drive) make sure they have a secure dust free connections and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty

make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd have secure connections and are not faulty

even something as small as an electrical extension or a faulty fan lead can cause you problems computer needs all of the data and power to travel through every working device and to have an end for a computer to be able work properly

a motherboard and a hard drive any leads between them will fail before your motherboard or your hard drive check all electrical extensions make sure they are securely seated even the cd/dvd drives need to have current go through make sure these devices are working

check the CPU make sure it has thermal paste and dust free secure seating

also check your computer ram modules and cmos battery make sure it has charge and they are dust free and securely seated some motherboards cmos batteries are soldered in

hope it helps

Hi my computor just recently went into hibernation mode and it won't turn to my original screen.I'll tell you what happend. It went to a black screen last night and i don't know if it crashed or not because...

when your computer boots up press F8 after the boot screen, its easy to miss the short period you can press this. This should prompt a screen which allows you to choose how to boot windows. Booting windows normally (without restoring hibernation state) or in your last good configuration that worked (it saves restore points pretty much every day your on it and will revert to that restore point) will be your best bets. Hope this helps, let me know if it gets tricky.
