How to hook up 18"

Hello!
SO I am going to give you more of a signal layout from the turntables (or whatever you use to DJ) to the speakers.
Turn tables-> Mixer-> Eq-> Amp-> Sub and other speakers.
The part that I am not understanding is why do you need the QSC amp if you have a powered sub? The powered part of that means that there is a built in amp, which eliminates the need for the QSC amp unless you are sending that sound to main (non sub) speakers.
Hope that helps!

How can I get my Denon 2106 to play through my television? I'm not sure what's happened. I feel like I have the cables hooked up properly. It's worked for years. My stereo plays, so it's not the speakers....

Hello: If you are trying to get the sound from the TV to come through the receiver to your speakers and are hearing nothing, I had the same problem. For some reason, and I have the question posted, the sound level requirement is much higher for the TV. I turned my receiver up to +2 decibels and the sound was there. However, if you play high def channels through the receiver, the +2 will blow your ears off. My new problem is why does the regular TV need so much volume on the dial while the high def channels only require the lower sound level. It prevents you from switching from regular to high definition channels. So, in summary, the sound is there, just turn the volume way up.

How to connect microphone to Yamaha RX-V365 as a PA system.

Home-theatre receivers don't have microphone inputs. If you want to use the receiver as an amplifier in PA system, you need to use some kind of mic pre-amp or a mixer with mic inputs.
For PA mixer is needed anyway almost every time and all mixers have at least one mic input (with a pre-amp). Mixers have line-level output(s), which you can connect to the analog input of receiver.
Using receiver as an amp in PA has advantage that you have 5 channel amp. When using high sensitive PA speakers (as oposed to less sensitive Hi-fi home speakers), you can get good performance with the power rating of receiver. You could even use 2 separate channels for subwoofers and 2 channels for satelite speakers - but for that you would need a receiver with 5.1 analog inputs and special device called crossover which would divide the output from mixer into low-frequency signal and high-frequency signal which you would then connect to the front and rear analog inputs. But with RX-V365 you can use only 2 channels with analog input

Help with Live Sound

I am available as a sound system designer.  Your request is a bit simple.  Given the complexity of the situation there are way too many factors involved to give a simple one or two paragraph solution.    Installing a sound system involves several areas of expertise.    1. Acoustic analysis of the venue. 2. Analysis of the electrical system. 3. Budget! 4. Procurement. 5. Rigging 6. Operation and maintenance protocols.      Fixya is an advise site for do it yourself solutions.  If you want advise. My advise is to find a consultant, pay them to give you a sound system design, buy the equipment new or second hand. Hire a competent sound engineer, carpenter, rigger, licensed electrician who can build and install your PA in your venue.  Best of Luck! I want to get the metallica sound from my marshall AVT50

Use the high gain channel. Set the bass to 8-10 set set the mids to 6-7 and the treble to taaste to cut through. Also turn the contour all the way up. To gice that scooped mid sound. Or use the celan channel on the amp and run a boss metal zone pedal through it. Set amps clean channel EQ to flat ( at 5) and the metal zones controls. Treble to taste for a good bite, bass up to the point were it wont fart out on your amp, sweep the mids outer knob set about 5-7 and the inner knob to about 4. Set prescence for clearity and the distortion level as high as you can stand it.

Samsung lcd tv not working as the picture is blurry and not clear

are you watching a high def channel? Standard def channels appear blurry, rather more like youtube videos, because the technology is advanced enough to really show all of the flaws.
