I have a Mitsubishi MITWS-65813.
The green led light constantly blinks. I tried the reset button and green light is still blinking. I unplug the tv, waited a few days, then plugged the tv back in, the green light still blinks. I have a lot of experience with soldering. Do you have any suggestions or can send repair directions/protocol for the DM board. via email? Thank you in advance for your help. Your help is much appreciated!
Your chassis V21, 2002 model TV has a problem, but to determine what, try this; press the 'input' and 'menu' buttons on the TV"s front panel for at least 10 seconds. Count the blinks (after releasing); eg blink, blink pause 6 blinks = code 26. The code will repeat 3 x's. The most common problem is the convergence IC's are bad or fluid on the boards.
if you changed the energy mode from standard to low that is normal, anytime you turn the set on it will do the same,
plug set green light will blink one minute.
turn it on it will blink onother minute and then turn on(make sure that you dont keep pressing power key) once on you can change your settings again.
Have you looked at the DM board fix yet that's available here. http://www.fixya.com/howto/h154057-mitsubishi_dm_board_repair
Check it out. If the inside of your TV set does not look like this, you will need to get the service manual to disassemble the set and get to the DM board, but use the rest of the guide to repair the board. If you are successful, you will save almost a 1000 bucks! Good Luck
