Question about HP Deskjet D1430 InkJet Printer
Printer is on. Cover is closed. Printer icon shows on bottom right corner. Print job shows in que. Does not print.
If you double click on the print que, look at the status heading...what does it say? If it says printing and then windows gives you a "this document failed to print", then you probably have a driver issue. Delete the printer and re-install. If it says paused then right click on the job and clickon resume. You might also want to check in the printers and faxes folder, right click on the driver for the printer, see if an option is there that says resume printing, click it if it does. Also right click on driver and select properties, under the ports tab see if the correct port is selected. Best I can do without knowing more detail.
