Toshiba dr-2 and directv hd sat rcvr hr22

My toshiba dr-2 does not list any codes to control the ir blaster for directv sat receiver. any suggestions/remedies I might try?

Check the manual to see if there is an automatic code search feature for your Toshiba. It may be easier to program your directv remote to operate your toshiba. You may not get the full use from either remote, but its worth a shot

No, that DVR is made to record programs that come off the satellite dish only, it doesn't have any video inputs. If you want a DVR, your best bet is to get one from Comcast.

IR Blaster Code for DirecTV D12-300 Satellite Receiver


After digging around for awhile, the only onfo I could gather was that teh D12 uses the same codes as the D10 & D11, but could not get those codes, I am still looking around and will post any other info I may aquire. I would also suggest re-trying any codes for echostar. I can tell you this as I sell that equipment in my market and echostar provides the equipment and support for techs, installers, and retailers. Anyway Good Luck for now

Won't record in HD. DVR shows to be recording, but when you click on the programmed HD channel (the one that's supposedly recording) it's blank and says "searching for satellite". Just started recently.


Have you tried rebooting the DVR and removing the card that came with the DVR if its one that was provided to by one of the satellite company's such as Directv or Dish.

I have a new LG HDTV. When first on the remote not responding.


Take the TV back.It should be under warranty.
LG/Zenith has had alot of problems with there TV's. Buy an extended warranty if you can. It will pay for itself.

Remote will not work


you would need to contact directv at 800-531-5000 and if programming it did not work, and setting it to default did not work, you may need a new remote. remote will cost about $15 unless you have the protection plan then it should be free depending on some circumstances.

How do I know if my Directv HR22-100 HD receiver is dead?


one last thing you can do, if it doesnt work the dvr is dead. reset the dvr and wait for the hello screen and then the screen will go black. when it turns black, hold the down arrow (on the front of the dvr) and the record button for at least 5 secs. this will re-format the hard drive. if it doesnt work the dvr is dead

Hi, I have a Directv HD HR22-100 receiver that I think might be dead. It won't power on, when I plug it in the lights in back flash for a second thats it. I've tried resetting unplugging/plugging. I don't...


unplug all the cables from the back except the your video output ( hdmi, component,) restart the receiver. if u still have the problem then it is dead. if it starts up there is a problem with the cabling or dish and your will need a service tech.

Check the Innovage manual for the automatic code search. If it works, you still may not have full control of your HR20. Try to program your Directv remote to operate your components
